We raise high quality stock of african nightcrawlers for fishing bait and vermi-composting. We have found over the years that our customers have the most success with starting a worm farm with a Bed Run portion of worms that have not been passed through a screening machine. The term Bed Run refers to a portion that contains all life cycle stages of the worm. In a Bed Run portion you will get cocoons (eggs), baby,juvenile, and breeding age worms. With a Bed Run portion you will have the greatest chances of a succesful worm bin. Each portion contains 2.5 gallons of bedding with 2-3 hundred worms. Each portion rests for at least two weeks before we sell the worms to ensure a good survival rate.
