Welcome to the Laughing Buddha Nursery Website. I encourage you to come out and visit our shop. We are currently evolving from "Organic Garden Center" to more of a "Urban Homesteading / Agriculture Center". I have never been more excited about our shop than I am now.

Laughing Buddha Nursery has joined forces with Wood Materials in an exciting soil / composting project at Wood Materials yard located at 6148 River Rd. The entrance to the yard is at the intersection of Power Line Dr and River Rd. The yard is open from 6am-4pm Monday-Friday,6am-11 Saturday, and closed Sunday. We currently have two garden soil blends to choose from, pine mulch, mixed hardwood mulch, bagasse mulch, pine fines, and corn gluten. We will have compost available for sale by February. For directions to the yard or hours of operation call the yard at 504-738-6079. We can load product loose in the back of an open pickup or trailer or via 1.5 cu yd super sack totes. For loose delivery of product via dump truck call Dan at 504-737-7263. To have product delivered via a 1.5 cu yd super sack (on a pallet) call Delta Sod at 504-733-0471. For wholesale orders, technical questions, custom quotes/blending, and/or orders of 25+ yards call Grant at 504-887-4336 or 504-234-3564.
The Clearview Shop is now Open 5 days a week: Tuesday-Saturday, Closed Sunday-Monday. We are now Cash, Check, and Money Order only. We are no longer accepting debit or credit cards for both financial and philosophical reasons.
NEXT CLASS: Sunday February 5th, Oyster Mushroom Cultivation. From 10am-1pm. $20 per person. Learn the basics of mushroom cultivation. Everyone will go home with there own oyster mushroom "kit". Taught by Grant Estrade. Please call 504-887-4336 to sign up. Must pre-pay please.
